DER 736 DER 736 was recommended by Dr Spurr for his low viscosity medium. Unfortunately, the manufacturer is charged ~$10,000 by the Australian government when introducing chemicals new to this country, however closely related to accepted chemicals the new ones are. So we were counselled by the manufacturer that DER 732 would work as well with a minor change in quantities only. It appears that, particularly when staining with Tol.
